Razer™ Optical Switches have an optical light sensor inside the switch. Upon pressing a key, you allow a receiver to be activated by this light signal, instantly actuating the switch command. You’ve never experienced speed like this before.

Unlike traditional mechanical switches that have a lot of moving parts and actuate via metallic contact, Razer™ Optical Switch enables actuation via light. Imagine this: you press a key and a light beam instantly passes through the switch stem—which is when actuation happens—and sends a corresponding signal to your computer to perform the intended action.

Rebind buttons, assign macros, and automatically save all your profile configurations with cloud storage. And if you’re without internet access, simply save up to 5 profiles via hybrid on-board memory.
